East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) is seeking for (3) regular full time Maintenance Technician in the Property Management department.

Summary:
Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician provides skilled maintenance support across various properties to cover staff absences, assist with large projects, and ensure the upkeep of units, common areas, and grounds. This role is critical to maintaining the performance and curb appeal of EBALDC properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance coverage for properties during staff vacations or absences.
- Assist with large-scale projects and train maintenance staff as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion of service requests and unit turnovers.
- Conduct repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, while maintaining safety and sustainability standards.
- Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas for hazards, safety issues, or maintenance needs.
- Oversee or assist with move-in/move-out inspections and monitor contractor work.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, inventory, and unit condition status.
- Respond to emergency calls after hours to ensure tenant safety and property security.
- Perform janitorial duties and maintain the property's cleanliness and curb appeal.
- 5–6 years of experience in residential property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and painting.
- Knowledge of Cal/OSHA codes, preventive maintenance, and janitorial procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with diverse, low-income populations.
- Reliable transportation, valid California Driver’s License, and insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, and maneuverability.
Salary Range
$39,724.00 to $48,558.00 annually
